1.Periodic Inspections: Periodically inspect the cloth insert rubber pads for any signs of wear, tear or damage. Inspect the woven fabric padding over the rubber surface for wear, cuts, or punctures. Identifying and fixing these problems early can prevent further damage and extend the life of your brake pads.
2.Cleaning: Clean your rubber pads regularly to remove dirt, debris, and contaminants that may affect their performance. Use a mild detergent or soapy water solution to gently scrub the pad surface. Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents that can degrade rubber or woven fabric inserts.
3.Avoid Overheating and Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to high temperatures and direct sunlight will accelerate the degradation of rubber materials. Store and use cloth insert rubber mats in a cool place or indoors whenever possible to prevent premature aging and deterioration.
4.Proper Storage: When not in use, store rubber mats in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated area. Avoid piling heavy objects on the mat as this may cause the material to deform and become damaged. Laying the pad flat or hanging it vertically helps maintain its shape and integrity.
5.Avoid Sharp Objects: Prevent contact with sharp or abrasive materials that may cause cuts, tears, or punctures on the rubber surface. Implementing protective measures and handling procedures can minimize the risk of accidental damage during use and storage.
